Update skl
skl update
skl update downloads the latest release for this machine, checks it against SHA256SUMS, runs --version on the new file, and then replaces the binary you ran. When the installed binary already matches the latest release, it does nothing. Pass --force to download and replace anyway. skl upgrade is an alias.
Your config, library, and state.db do not change.
If skl update fails, run the install script again. It replaces the binary in SKL_INSTALL_DIR, which defaults to ~/.local/bin:
curl -fsSL https://tryskl.fyi/install.sh | sh -s -- --non-interactive
If you built skl from source, run cargo install --path crates/cli again from a fresh checkout instead.
